Biomedical Product Specialist (Medical Equipment):
Milton Keynes:
£ 26,000 to £30,000 + Bonus (10 to 15% of salary per annum) + Contributory Pension + BUPA + Life Assurance + 25 days holiday
Are you from a lab background and looking for a rewarding position in the commercial sector? This role is perfect for a biomedical scientist with good communication skills who are looking to take their skills into a customer focused environment.
The position is hugely varied and is centred on internal customer support.
Our client is a specialist manufacturer of state of the art coagulation equipment that sets the industry standard for product quality. They are experiencing rapid growth due to the securing of some rather large long term public sector contracts. As a result they are looking to recruit an additional Coagulation team leader who will grow with this multi faceted role.
This company offers candidates who may be in the public sector to move into the commercial world. They are renowned for excellent training and development; a graded department with structured career progression; a competitive starting salary; and with good working conditions.
The Role:
* Product Support to customers with regard to the Hotline in both haematology, and coagulation
* Receive incoming customer calls and:
- Log the new calls on in house calling logging software.
- Handle the call to completion if possible
- Refer the call to an appropriate member of the Product team if necessary
-Circulate information to Product group members to progress development and knowledge throughout the team.
* Test instrumentation prior to delivery where product performance is identified as a specific issue.
* On exception, support customer and staff training courses.
The Candidate:
* Qualified Biomedical Scientist.
* Will have some lab or experience in the commercial world or equivalent.
* Good verbal communication skills.
