Senior Systems Engineer – CCNA, MCSE, Cisco Routers, QoS, Exchange, Servers, 3rd line, 40k, Manchester
My client is one of the most reputable organisations in the World and is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to be based in Manchester.
You will be responsible for looking after my clients' internal infrastructure where you provide support to both Microsoft and Cisco technologies. Therefore you will need solid networking skills such as troubleshooting routers and Cisco hardware. You will provide 2nd/ 3rd line support for the entire server environment and take full ownership of projects.
To be considered you must be MCSE and CCNA certified and must display solid experience of supporting Microsoft and Cisco Networking environment. The following is a required:
- Advanced LAN/ WAN skills and good routers and switching troubleshooting
- Network design, configuration, and installation; configuration techniques that increase bandwidth, improve response times, and enhance reliability and quality of service (QoS)
- Extensive experience supporting Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange 2003/ 2007
- 2nd/ 3rd line support experience
