SQL Server DBA – SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, SSRS, T-SQL, Transact-SQL, DTS, Reporting Services, Data Modelling, Reports, DBA, data warehouse, Database Administrator, MCDBA, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator – South Yorkshire
Database Administrator (SQL Server) required to work for leading organisation based in the South Yorkshire area. You will have extensive experience working with SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, T-SQL, DTS, SSRS and data modelling. You will design and develop and subsequently support the database architecture from inception to completion. You would act as the sole DBA and as such must have strong relevant experience for the position.
You will act as the DBA and subject matter expert to the business, creating databases and designing and developing logical data models. You will manage and maintain the SQL databases and configure Microsoft SQL Server as well. You will build a data warehouse to support the organisational requirements, analysing databases and making recommendations in terms of data storage. You will have demonstrable experience working as a DBA specifically with SQL Server 2005/ 2008 and ideally hold MCDBA accreditation.
You will have strong team working skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. You will have the ability to communicate business impacts of database design anomalies and inconsistencies as well as shaping solution design.
