Our client is looking to recruit a Planning Engineer to work on a variety of oil and gas, pharmaceutical and water treatment projects from their office in Milton Keynes.

Our client is a market leading EPC contractor in the Milton Keynes area. They work on large scale projects, and are at the forefront of the industry in which they operate. A Planning Engineer/ Project Controller is required to work on key projects within the organisation.
The Company:
This client was established within the last 25 years. Throughout this period they have provided an excellent planning and project controls service on a variety of large scale projects across the globe. They are recognised internationally as a market leader, their turnover is in excess of £3bn and they employ over 20,000 people across the globe.
As a company, they cover several sectors inclusive of oil & gas, nuclear and petrochemical. Projects include new builds and revamps. They are highly challenging projects, ranging from £50mn to £1.5bn. This company has won several awards for their outstanding work and achievements within their sectors.
Essential skills:
-The ideal candidate will have spent upwards of 5 years working in a project environment incorporating planning, costing and estimating (other good candidates may be considered if you can prove your ability to do the job)
-You will have experience within oil and gas, petrochemical, nuclear.
-You will be proficient in the use of P3 planning software, and have experience of using it in a commercial environment
-Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with Senior Planners and planning staff internally and both clients and other contractors externally
