Our client is a growing and exciting internet company. They're now looking to recruit a PHP Developer / PHP Web Developer to join their team to help develop a potentially explosive web application that will change the shopping habits of millions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at the early stage. They're currently developing an emerging technology that's going to harness the power of the web to help enhance the high street shopping experience.
As a PHP Developer / PHP Web Developer you'll be tasked with assisting with a range of development tasks and heading up the web development team. The team is currently outsourced, though in time you'll have the chance to recruit and manage your own team of in-house developers.
Your main duties will include:
- Leading the design and development of the site and database
- Managing the front-end and server-end of the existing web application
- Managing optimisation and scalability of the database and systems architecture
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Commercial PHP web development experience
- Experience of designing and building SQL databases
- A creative flair towards systems architecture and the ability to contribute ideas
As the PHP Developer / PHP Web Developer you'll also need a driven, proactive attitude coupled with exceptional attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
