A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Systems Engineer to work on-site with customers. The role will involve specifying and implementing solutions using my clients own and third party products. You will be responsible for management of each project, implementation on-site, liaison with customers, reporting to senior engineers and management.
The role will involve the wide use of Simulink / RTW and MATLAB as well as system specification including software and electronic interfacing.
You must have a flexible approach to work and an ability to deliver work consistently at a professional level.
Initially the role will be mainly within an automotive or aerospace environment in the West Midlands.
Skills:
I am looking for highly competent enthusiastic engineers who take a pride in identifying and implementing professional and creative solutions to the many challenging issues that arise during the design, development and testing of complex systems. These systems integrate multiple distributed processors/ control units and multiple communications networks.
Skills Required:
1) Development experience with Matlab / Simulink and Stateflow.
2) Knowledge of ECU to Vehicle interfacing and vehicle networks.
3) Experience in a vehicle development engineering environment.
4) Good Familiarity of CAN and LIN buses.
5) Experience with vehicle electronics.
Knowledge of programming/ scripting languages such as VB, Python or Java would be a distinct advantage.
