£25,000 - £35,000 DOE Plus Pension and Private Healthcare Plan (available after 12 months' service)
As a leading software development company, our client deploys its products in the UK, USA, Europe and Australia. Currently in a growth phase, they are now looking to recruit an additional Java Developer / Java Programmer to join their team.
This is the ideal role for an enthusiastic candidate with a genuine interest in Java development to join a company that operates at the forefront of its sector. For the right person, there are good career opportunities as the company grows.
As a Java Developer / Java Programmer you will work on the company's latest Java product which has already been very successful. On a daily basis, you will work with EJB3, SQL, JasperReports, J2ME, SWING and JMS.
The company loosely follows the extreme programming model where all development done is by teams of two. Your work will be very varied and the teams change around according to the task assigned.
To be considered for this position you must have proven experience of working with Java and ideally, J2EE. Equally as important will be your enthusiasm and ability to work in a team.
