Customer Service Manager, West Yorkshire, Yorkshire.
Customer Service Manager, West Yorkshire. A market leading service & product provider based in an easily commutable area of west Yorkshire currently has an exciting position to fill. They are looking for a highly driven and focused Customer Service Manager. The person will take responsibility for an established team of customer facing/ dealing staff, during a period of growth for the company.
This company is not looking for a "corporate" clone. You MUST bring personality to the position. Fundamentally you will be in charge of "rallying the troops" and motivating those around you to perform. If they are not performing, you must find out why and think of way to improve. You can't be afraid to make mistakes, it is the only way you will learn - a quick thinker able to act on their feet will go far in this role.
Obviously you must have a proven track record of success in a similar position. Have a good eye for improvement and process improvement (without being too rigid). An ability to review large amounts of data and pick out key points is an essential requirement. Experience of managing teams between 15 - 30 people. Being able to deal with technical support queries may also benefit your application, but isn't essential.
