Senior Consultant/ Senior Claims Consultant
Remuneration:
£65,000 - £80,000 per annum + benefits
Our Client:
Our client provides strategic support and technical advice on high capital construction projects across the globe within the energy, infrastructure, transport and built environment. Due to a health portfolio of work, my client requires a Senior Claims Consultant/ Senior Consultant to join their expanding team to work on large building and civil engineering infrastructure projects worldwide.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a degree qualified individual who has is recognised through a professional institution to provide support and leadership as well as delivery of high value projects. You would also be involved in pursuit or defence claims including advising clients on commercial strategy, risks and opportunities (claim writing and quantum calculations). You must have a proven capability of managing, delivering and settling major claims on large projects. This includes experience of disruption analysis, loss and expense claims and experience of working with legal counsel in negotiation, arbitration and litigation.
You will also be required to assist in the preparation and implementation of a business development plan and strategy.
Requirements:
MRICS or member of similar professional institution.
Degree Qualified
10+ years post qualification experience
An additional qualification in Law, Arbitration, Mediation and/ or Expert Witness is desirable.
Knowledge of UK domestic contracts and FIDIC
Understanding of contract and commercial risks on large scale projects.
