Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist – Croydon – up to £35k An opportunity has arisen with my client based in Croydon, who are a leading web based marketing and advertising company operating in 8 different countries. Due to expansion my client is looking for a dynamic and experienced SEO specialist to join their team.
You will be joining a young and dynamic team who are passionate, and lead the way in their field. They are forward thinking, thriving, energetic and due to expansion this fantastic opportunity has arisen to join their current team.
The Job role:
The SEO specialist will work on a wide portfolio of clients, at times providing consultation services as well as hands-on implementation for numerous websites. Regular contact with clients, including face-to-face meetings, is necessary and you will be expected to keep your accounts as well informed as possible.
Key duties include:
Perform meaningful and effective research and development by building sites that test theories and techniques.
Performs meaningful analysis of client sites and campaigns to highlight effective and efficient means of optimising performance and produced detailed client and internal reports.
Continual evaluations of practice and procedures to optimise the quality, efficiency and profitability of own work
Efficiently feed accurate information and timely assistance to colleagues
Build strong and productive relationships with interdependent roles internally and externally
Exceed client expectations and performance goals on a daily basis
Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills as required.
Experience required:
Must have proven experience delivering results through ethical search engine optimisation techniques
Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment
Strong understanding of search engine-friendly Web site design and ability to make critical design and technical recommendations to Web developers
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong project management skills
A good understanding of internet technology especially HTML
Minimum of 1 year active marketing experience.
A working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook plus use of the Internet and search engines for SEO.
GCSE's in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
A positive attitude with creative flair.
