Managing Quantity Surveyor
My client is a leading Utilities contractor that currently requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be based in Bristol
Position:
Managing Quantity Surveyor
Location:
Bristol / Newport
Salary:
Up to £50,000 per annum

The Client:
The successful surveyor will be working for the utilities division of an established main contractor that has been in business for over 50 years. They operate in several different area's of the utilities sector, such as water distribution services, gas infrastructure services, as well as electrical and telecommunications' provision. They offer a structured career path, as well as an excellent internal promotion system to ensure your personal and professional development.
The Role:
You will be working on high value, high volume gas pipeline projects up to the total value of £30m. This is a mostly office based position where you will also be expected to make client visits on a regular basis. You will be leading the existing Quantity Surveyor and will be responsible for producing monthly Cost Value Reports.
The Ideal candidate:
- Pipeline, gas, water, electricity experience
- Locally based to the Bristol / Newport area
- Strong communication skills
- Team management experience
- Managing QS experience
