Job Purpose:
The Technical Lead / Senior Consultant is responsible for leading a group of developers to construct and unit test configurations, customizations, reports, interfaces, and/ or data conversion programs. Must be analytical and work well with customers. Must be able to document work in professional manner. Candidate must be a self-starter and disciplined.
The Technical Lead / Senior Consultant is responsible for the quality of the configuration and development in customer environments.
The Technical Lead / Senior Consultant will help create and review Technical Design documentation. They will help mentor and guide other developers in their work.
The Technical Lead / Senior Consultant is expected to cultivate an excellent relationship with the customer and to analyze, design, document, and implement the customer requirements.
The Technical Lead / Senior Consultant is an experienced, hands-on consultant ready to roll up sleeves to learn about customer businesses and successfully implement. Travel and on-site presence are required.
Education:
• Bachelors degree or greater in Computer-related field
• Masters degree preferred
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Knowledge and experience in performing Technical Lead work on enterprise software implementations (ERP)
• Dataflows and development architecture
• Build and release technologies and processes
• Experience in software development. Hands-on experience in Java and J2EE
• Development experience with Web based technologies, e.g. HTML and XML.
• Experience in all aspects of software development life cycle; emphasis on applying formal methodologies.
• Solid experience on UNIX, Linux, MS Windows, and MS Office tools.
• Solid experience with RDBMS, particularly Oracle SQL, and PL/ SQL.
• Experience with BEA Weblogic / Websphere Application Server
