This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to translate briefs of varying complexity into high quality web designs for one of the UK’s leading energy providers. Working on multiple design projects or individual briefs at any given time, you’ll enjoy the challenge of managing your own time and resources effectively to deliver to fixed (and often short) deadlines.
Keeping in touch with the latest technology, best practice and external web design trends, you’ll design high quality online interfaces and compelling digital marketing content (from marketing banners to full e-commerce and corporate websites). You have the flexibility of approach to conform to existing style guides but design appropriate creative solutions for more complex projects, and evolve new designs where necessary. You’ll always wire-frame and document user journeys and page content, to communicate your design solutions clearly to colleagues.
Together with a demonstrable understanding of the software development lifecycle and the web designer’s part in that process, you have a proven track record of designing web content for known brands, using workflow management tools to receive briefs and log outcomes. You have documented design solutions as walk-throughs, prototypes and / or presentations, and you have ample experience of working with Adobe’s design software suite – ideally using Adobe Flash. Driven and enthusiastic, you bring a proactive and creative approach to your work.
