Storage Technical Specialist – EMC Symmetrix, DMX, HP EVA, HP SAN, NAS, CAS, Centera, McData, Brocade, ECC, EMC, Symcli, disk array, disk storage, SAN switches , EMC Control Center, Netapps, Storageworks, Clariion, storage infrastructureP, datacentre, data centre, Storage, ITIL– West Yorkshire
Storage Technical Specialist required to work for leading FTSE 250 company based in West Yorkshire. You will have experience working within storage. Experience of SAN switches, disk storage, disk arrays, HP Storage, HP EVA, NAS, Brocade switches or other storage specific technology like EMC Clariion, Symmetrix, Netapps or ECC is a necessity. You will ideally have experience working within storage administration in an HP environment but experience in other areas of storage would be suitable for the role.
You will be involved in storage administration tasks in SAN and enterprise class disk storage, SAN switches and optimisation of storage infrastructure as well as ideally having exposure to design and implementation of storage area networks. Experience of data centre environments would be of advantage. You will specify and implement storage hardware and software for new systems as appropriate. Ideally you will have experience in other areas of IT infrastructure and systems.
The role is commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Rochdale and other areas of West Yorkshire.
