Senior Engineer - Technical lead on Test & Integration. GSM, GPRS, UMTS, W-Lan Network infrastructure.
My client, a leading telecoms company are actively looking to recruit a Senior Engineer in Communication Service Integration.
To provide the technical lead on Test & Integration activities for new Services and Solutions operating within both the Telecoms and IS infrastructure.When it comes to test and integration activities, you'll be playing a leading role within their telecoms and IS infrastructure. Covering everything from the initial design to first site implementation, you'll consistently meet their high quality standards and deadlines.
You'll also have to effectively manage suppliers, develop and agree detailed testing plans, co-ordinate your testing activities and ensure you have adequate resources available. And, where problems are identified, you'll work with other parties to resolve them.
You will need to have demonstrable experience in the following:
Good knowledge of Telecommunications industry/ market place.Good Commercial and Business awareness; clear focus on company strategic imperatives. Good relevant knowledge of GSM, GPRS, UMTS, W-Lan Network infrastructure.Good knowledge of Intelligent networks & in particular the Siemens IN Systems (@vantage & @commander Platforms).Experience of the Integration and Acceptance testing of various IN services into the Mobile network.Good knowledge of Voice and Data Services and associated Mobile Applications.Experience of Integration and Acceptance Testing of Telecommunications services and equipment.Clear and effective communication skills at all levels.Strong Project Management ability.
