Our client is looking for a number of Internet/ Web/ Mail Gateway Specialists to provide live systems support to the clients Internet Mail environment. The role provides exposure to underlying platforms used to deliver Internet Mail and provide a Secure Web access gateway. You should have Experience of working in a 2nd line IT support environment. Working knowledge of underlying infrastructure components/ platforms - Unix (Solaris, Linux, DNS) Skilled in Internet Mail/ Web Access architectures: Must have good experience with mail and Web Access appliances. Perl/ Shell Scripting. Key Accountabilities: React quickly and as necessary to live systems errors and service problems to minimise downtime and restore service. Key focus will be required upon identification of root cause and implementation of permanent fix. Planning and implementation of small change, patching and maintenance activities in line with change management processes and governance. To complete all Infrastructure elements of Projects which require Internet Mail/ Web Access component changes.
