Technology driven media company seeks a talented Web Designer. You will have a portfolio of URL's and code samples to demonstrate your skills, creativity & experience in your career to date. You will also have strong UI & accessibility experience and be able to embrace front end technical responsibilities such as CSS & HTML.
We are seeking a Web Designer who can both design & implement HTML code to come on board and to advise on the redesign of their site managing the continuity, the look & the feel of the site and taking ownership for the decisions made regarding the execution of this.
You will be a very creative Web Designer and have strong front end & UI technical skills. You will have an excellent portfolio of code & URL's demonstrating your work and possess a real passion, energy and enthusiasm for your career.
The expected skill set for the Web Designer is;
Strong Design skills, highly creative and a strong portfolio demonstrating your work to date
Varied career experience to date to demonstrate your skills
Strong UI & accessibility exp & knowledge
Creativity & flair
Ability to take ownership of your work and to advise the team on design solutions
Technical front end coding skills are highly desirable-CSS, XHTML, HTML, JavaScript, Jquery,DOM
Any knowledge of; Template toolkit & MASON, prototyping or wire framing are also highly desired
Duties include; responsibility for the entire design of the front end of their website, advising on all decisions relating to this and taking ownership for your work, working along side the development team you will work with them to manage the continuity across the site and to ensure that you are all working closely together on this. If you have front end skills you will also work on front end enhancements, modifications & in all cases you will managing your own projects & delivering to strict deadlines.
