Infrastructure Architect – MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, VCP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Exchange, Active Directory , SAN, NAS, Storage, Wintel, tape backup,, VMWare, VMWare ESX, GSX, Infrastructure Management Platforms, Prince 2, HP Openview, Remedy, Heat, Magic, SSADM, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, LAN, WAN, Network, Prince 2, ITIL, Technical Consultant – North West
Technical Architect (MCSE, MCTS, VCP) required to work for leading organisation in the North West. You will be experienced in design and delivery of infrastructure based solutions based in Wintel, Server and Network based technologies. Ideally you will have experience with SAN/ NAS, Server 2003/ 2008, Exchange, Active Directoryand virtualisation with VMWare ESX ad GSX. Ideally you will hold Prince 2 or MCSE or equivalent accreditation although this is not absolutely essential.
You will be experienced within complex infrastructure design as well as specialist support. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of infrastructure across Wintel, Storage, Network and Virtualisation, ensuring you meet the needs of internal and external clients. You will lead the requirements analysis phase of projects and develop system design specifications while building and maintaining project infrastructures within development and production environments.
The role comes with a competitive salary and benefits package and would be based in Manchester. The company is commutable from Manchester, Warrington, Preston, Cheshire, Stockport, Halifax and Huddersfield.
