I urgently require an experienced Senior RF Design Engineer to work on site in Portsmouth.
•1st Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with RF / Microwave design content.
•Must have documented first hand experience in:
-Derivation and / or use of large signal s-parameters for Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) design.
-Power amplifier design at component (i.e. single stage) level in L / S or C bands.
-Multi-stage SSPA system design including calculation of gain, linearity and DC power budgets.
-SSPA design at equipment level including a good understanding of grounding, thermal, mechanical and EMC design considerations.
•For this position it is expected that the applicant will have considerable demonstrable industrial experience in power amplifier design.
•Applicants with experience with Gallium Nitride power amplifier design would be of particular interest
