NHS Web and Publications Manager - Interim 3 Months+ Around 150 per day - South West
My NHS client, located on the beautiful south coast of England, currently need a Web and Publications Manager for an initial 3 Month contract, likely to be extended.
This post requires requires a technically skilled and creative individual, to liaise with NHS staff, manage, co-ordinate and develop the Trust's web presence to both the public and patients.
Communications, Social Marketing and Website Development are rapidly growing areas within the NHS. Trusts are aiming to grow their presence and keep up with slick private sector websites by creating and maintaining attractive and informative websites, harnessing new technologies such as social networking tools, RSS feeds and interactive multi-media.
Working in an NHS Arms length organisation you will be providing an integral service within the Trust, main duties include:
- Be responsible for development and maintenance of internal, external and extranet websites
- Establish written standards for content and design to meet NHS standards
- Research and write creative content for NHS web publication
- Promote websites
- Support and advise staff on creating all types of multimedia (Excellent creative writing skills necessary)
- Desk top publishing/ Photo editing
This role will enhance any CV, provide a great springboard for subsequent NHS roles, and is located in an area usually reserved for UK holidays and day trips!
