Programme Office Manager, Manchester, paying up to £55K. Household leading organisation has engaged with Harvey Nash to recruit for a Programme Office Manager based in Manchester, ideally with a Green or Black Belt accreditation and a Prince 2 or equivalent.
Key skills/ Knowledge required:
A Portfolio/ Programme Office Manager will demonstrate all of the following skills/ knowledge:
·Proven track record of programme office experience within a financial or insurance business environment.
·Mature approach to handling conflict at Director of level and below.
·Analysis, planning, scheduling and organising, aligned to strategic awareness applied to all aspects of the role.
·Scenario modelling and “what if” based planning.
·In-depth understanding of programme/ project management methodologies and frameworks, change and/ or IT frameworks.
·Good interpersonal skills.
·Good presentation and facilitation skills.
·Negotiating, influencing, effective challenge and gaining commitment.
·Competent at senior relationship and stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills including effective questioning.
·Financial awareness to support the portfolio/ programme/ project costs and benefits product set.
·Budget control and management.
·Supplier management.
The role will be accountable for the end to end shaping, management and delivery of governance, control, reporting and resource management mechanisms in line with strategic direction for the portfolio of improvement projects including managing all resources assigned with full accountability for their actions, decisions and delivery quality.
Salary on offer is up £55K plus Annual Bonus and Share Award, Generous Company Pension scheme, 29 days holidays (+ bank holidays) and much more.
