The Linux engineer role works within the production support team, administering the Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems on a 24/ 7 basis. This is a challenging technical role working within a dedicated and focused team, ensuring the smooth running of systems that are integral to the success of this global business. Major projects planned ensure that there will be plenty of variety in your role.
As a successful applicant you will have hands-on experience supporting and administering enterprise Red Hat Linux (RHEL) systems in a 24/ 7 production environment. Additional skills with Solaris, Windows Server 2003, HP SANs / Blade servers, Cisco networking, Apache / WebLogic web servers, or Veritas Volume Manager are useful but not mandatory.
