Business Analyst, SEPA, Payments, Cards, banking, London
The role is for a Business Analyst to work within the Banking Programme - Business Improvement, reporting to either the Senior Business Analyst or Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities / objectives
·Co-ordinate and manage the content development of a new 3rd party help solution
·Work with stakeholders, suppliers and subject matter experts to achieve milestones for delivery·Project working group will be made up of reps from Business Improvement Project team, Group Technology, Business Testing, Marketing, Customer Service Ops, 3rd party supplier
·Help co-ordinate training and communication of changes to existing customers (internal and external)
·Produce and maintain relevant project documentation
General BA skills required
·Experience of working within project environments with a proven ability to work on own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions
·Proficient use of MS Office, analytical tools and structured analytical techniques
·Understanding of Project Management Frameworks, documentation standards, Project Lifecycle planning
·Relationship Management, strong project management methodologies and effective workshop facilitation to help drive and shape the project
·Early identification of issues and positive mitigation of these
·Be able to tackle challenges head-on with creative solutions
·Ability to focus on team as well as individual objectives
·Flexibility and diversity within role to adapt to changing priorities
·Analytical and thorough with keen attention to detail
Specific skills/ experience desired
·Previous experience of Corporate Banking (within online Banking application preferable)
Proven history of delivering creative solutions displaying flair and originality of ideas
·Customer focus - be able to view scenarios through the eyes of a customer and recommend solutions
·Good English / language skills, some experience of copywriting would be useful
·Experience of web development activities and/ or online banking solutions (specifically help tools) is ideal
·Some web experience and good knowledge of the internet are essential
·Metafaq experience desired
·Experience in managing external Agency relationships
