As a leading UK Home Improvements and Interiors company with a turnover in excess of £100million we are currently looking for someone to take up the position of Finance Manager with our group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with genuine drive and ambition to reach the highest level in their career.
You will be a key member of our Management Team responsible for helping drive growth and profitability through the organisation, providing strong financial leadership by working closely with our Accounts Team and reporting directly to the Financial Controller and Finance Director. Based in our head office in Cheshire you will take responsibility for the day to day and month to month provision of full financial support for the group.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Provision and preparation of high quality financial accounting and reporting services
Management Accounts – the production of monthly Management account packs
Month end consolidation of P&L and balance sheet
Management of dividends and associated accounting
Preparation of annual group accounts
Coordination of external audit
Cash Management
Proactive Involvement - Review and recommend improvements in controls and procedures to assist in the management and ongoing development of the finance department and the identification of opportunities & drive cost saving initiatives throughout the businesses.
Tax - All aspects of taxation, tax compliance and VAT compliance
PERSONAL QUALITIES
Degree qualified with relevant industry qualifications ACA, ACCA etc
Preferably CIMA associated
It is desirable that you have some practical work experience but this opportunity may also suit a freshly qualified individual
A proactive and driven personality with a desire to progress in your career
Individual contribution to drive growth and profitability
Innovation to assist in the development of the Finance Department and the business
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
