Network Solutions Specialist/ Firewall Consultant, Juniper, F5, Cisco My High profile Client seeks a Network Solutions Specialist/ Firewall Consultant to be based in Cheshire. Your main duties will involve being solely responsible for contributing to defining the Network LAN/ WAN/ MAN, Firewall or voice PBX, call logging, voicemail, voice recording infrastructure layer and strategy for the enterprise. Key accountabilities: Be responsible for contributing to defining the Network LAN/ WAN/ MAN, Firewall or voice PBX, call logging, voicemail, voice recording infrastructure layer and strategy for the enterprise. Be responsible for ensuring that any designs produced are in line with the current network architecture and infrastructure strategy documentation and are fit for purpose. You will provide input and design to network infrastructure solutions and will have a broad knowledge across many infrastructure components. You will design and oversee changes to the infrastructure in support of client requirements. You will provide input into technical strategies for Network Services. Essential requirements: Proven detailed experience in designing large-scale, enterprise network solutions in large within large financial/ blue chip institutions Technical knowledge of all major components of network infrastructure used on data, Firewalls and voice Extensive experience with Juniper including support, full installation, build and life cycle Knowledge of the relevant protocol Suite ie for data/ Firewalls - VLSM, IP address allocation and IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols, for voice - Nortel Meridian technology, In-depth voicemail, call logging and voice recording design experience.
