The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Information Security professional within the RNLI IT Department based at RNLI HQ in Poole.

To be successful in this role you will need in-depth information security expertise to ensure that the necessary management information is provided to give assurance that all information security threats are fully risk assessed and brought under management control.

You will need excellent security experience and be a credible member of the IT team. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders on threat management and security incident management. You’ll provide advice, guidance and direction on information security matters, such as routine security activities or emerging security risks and mitigating technologies.

Leading on the review of existing IT security you will ensure compliance to applicable laws and regulations, and that suitable information security controls, awareness, training and education is in place through structured delivery of activity.

You will also be used to achieving results by working collaboratively with others at all levels of seniority and be capable of managing and delivering everything from "quick wins" to more strategic initiatives.
