Digital ASIC Design Team Lead

Our client is a highly respected multi-national company developing complex semiconductor IC's in the most advanced process technologies. As part of significant expansion of their IC team, they are seeking a Digital ASIC Design Lead to join their R&D centre in Dublin, focusing on RFSoC technology.

The Digital ASIC Lead will work as a technical team lead and design architect, focussing on the development of digital / analog systems in advanced 7nm/16nm Fin FET CMOS. The role involves work on all aspects of the digital design flow with focus on architecture and design of the digital-RF signal chain.

Suitable applicants will have:

*A strong academic background (BSc / MSc / PhD) in Electronic Engineering or related field

*Extensive experience in modern digital ASIC methodologies, from front-end design and verification, synthesis, STA and signal integrity, through DfT and physical implementation

*Previous experience leading digital IC design teams would be beneficial

*Complex digital block design experience / high speed design experience

*Extensive experience in implementing DSP in ASIC hardware

*Good problem solving ability
