An Estimating Manager with Power experience is required by a leading construction company based in the Surrey area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the engineering and design of power generation facilities in the UK and across Europe. In return, you'll be offered an excellent salary of up to £80k plus a full benefits package.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Engineering and design of power generation facilities
- Managing a multi-discipline team responsible for the civil/ structural, mechanical/ process, layout/ piping, and electrical/ controls engineering and design of power facilities
- Managing the development of detailed equipment specifications
- Managing the development of equipment specifications, engineering schedules, engineering budgets and staffing
- Managing engineering input for power facilities
- Provide construction and commissioning support
Required experience:
- Significant experience in power plant systems, power plant equipment and engineering work processes
- Ability to prepare and present technical and marketing presentations
- BSc qualified in an Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer
- Ability to manage and direct work of other engineers and designers
- Client facing with strong presentation skills
