Change Manager: London £37,000 - £40,000

We are currently seeking a Change Manager to work for an established business based in London. You will be involved to co-ordinate all aspects of business change by planning, prioritising and managing the delivery of operational and project changes.

Responsibilities

- Plan and manage the implementation of change to meet clients and business needs.

- Control and manage change requests and impact assessments ensuring complete assessment including identification of cost, risk within agreed service levels.

-Ensure the change process, procedures and documentation are fit for purpose and continually updated/improved.

-Ensure requirements are specified in sufficient detail to allow accurate assessment.

-Ensure the change process is managed effectively via Plainview to ensure an auditable trail of change governance.

-Ensure effective planning and prioritisation of all changes are managed in accordance to the transformation programme plan.

-Verify and ensure tractability of the proposed solution, challenge where necessary.

-Embrace the new Agile ways of working within the business.

Essentials

-Substantial management experience, preferably within a change environment; also experience of long term partnerships or outsource contracts.

-Experience in change control management and project management with business to business environments.

-Practical experience of using change management control tools.

Technical knowledge and skills

-Ability to communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with both internal and external teams.

-Ability to think strategically and to understand how change management contributes to the delivery of the strategic plans of a business.

-Knowledge of PRINCE2 methodology from both a project manager and user viewpoint.

-Sound working knowledge of the suite of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access etc) and a familiarity with Microsoft Project Management software.
