A Systems Engineering Manager with extensive experience in a manufacturing systems engineering role, including experience at a senior level within a high technology or small batch product manufacturing environment is required by a leading engineering company located in Hampshire. In return, a salary of up to £55,000 p.a. plus benefits is on offer, as well as the chance to work with an industry leading organisation.
The Systems Engineering Manager will have experience of using manufacturing systems engineering tools, understanding of electronic hardware, PCB population, SMT process techniques, experience of ATE and functional testing methods across a wide range of products and technologies. The Systems Engineering Manager will ideally be 6 Sigma Black Belt certified or a lean manufacturing master engineer.
On a day to day basis you will primarily be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing systems engineering and test functions, working closely with the senior manufacturing management team.
The Systems Engineering Manager will be educated to degree or HND in manufacturing systems engineering or equivalent. Experience within aerospace or avionics industry as well as experience in a test development environment is advantageous.
