Based in Dublin, this is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in electronic financial trading technology.

The FPGA Design Engineer will be developing FPGA solutions and developing the complete systems utilising FPGA, VHDL and C/C++. Responsibilities will include; Complex block and architecture studies; the development of verification environments using top of the edge methodologies; Software/hardware integration and interface architecting and implementation; Perform RTL simulation and lab testing of circuits, interpret the results and optimize the design until the predetermined functionality and timing is satisfied.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, along with abilities in:

* FPGA Design with VHDL

* A knowledge of Standard protocol knowledge (USB, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR*, AMBA, etc.)

* C/C++ coding, and a strong background in data structures
