Are you an effective project manager with proven strategic and creative leadership skills? Are you looking for a new challenge? One that will develop your skills and enable you to do work that will make a real difference to people’s lives? That is exactly what we can offer you as Strategy and Planning Project Manager at ActionAid UK.

We are a leading international charity. We support women and children in extreme poverty. We fight for their rights and for lasting change. We want you to help us achieve our key milestone for 2017 - to finalise and implement our new 5 year organisational strategy for mobilising resources, campaigning and being a humanitarian leader.

You will be heavily involved in supporting the Senior Leadership Team to communicate our new UK strategy, as well as in liaising across different teams at all levels to deliver a strong planning process to align our work.

This will include ensuring key deliverables are developed on time and to standard, producing a communications plan for key stakeholders and monitoring progress against plan. Important will be the ability to ensure resources, measures of success, risks and dependencies, and other key information are sufficiently captured and transmitted to interested parties as needed.

You must have experience of project management in a complex environment as well as the ability to coordinate and track multiple processes and workstreams simultaneously.

Comfortable planning, supervising and evaluating major projects you will be skilled at managing stakeholder relationships and an effective facilitator who can motivate and enthuse others.

If you are keen to have a major influence on our work and ensure ActionAid UK makes an effective and well-defined contribution to our federation please apply online via the link.
