Security Analyst, Resilience, Systems analysis, IT risk assessment Banking Project

This role as a cyber-security Resilience Security Analyst within a tier 1 investment bank based in London, Canary Wharf will play a significant role in contributing to the Security / Systems Analysis focusing on the infrastructure, data, applications and improving overall information cyber security risk.

Candidates are required to have experience of working within the Resilience side of the cyber security space from previous roles and being able to contribute to the assessment of risk and discovery of solutions linked to this area.

The overall programme in summary is to uplift the banks defensive capabilities. This will be an ongoing long-term project. Ideally candidates will have a background in banking, financial services or a big four consultancy although this is not mandatory. Out of industry, experience would be considered.

Any formal training / Certifications within information risk such as NIST or similar would highly advantageous.

Key Activities

* Support IT Project Managers and their business stakeholders

* Investigate, classify and analyse information risk associated with IT systems

* Translate business risk appetite/posture into functional and non-functional requirements

* Produce high quality project artefacts including requirements/user stories, current system, operational process models

* Work closely with developers, testers, support staff and architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical and operational compatibility for agreed solutions

EXP. that is required for the success of this role

* Cyber Security Business Analysis experience

* Resilience experience

* Availability management / engineering OR Reliability management / engineering

* Forensic complex systems analysis

* Overall strong IT risk / Cyber security knowledge, understanding & experience

* (data, application & infrastructure) - transaction flows and failure modes

* Non-functional requirements gathering and analysis
