The role
This is an exciting chance for an experienced developer to work in one of the most advanced and exciting areas of our software development. By enhancing a range of in-house applications and building new capability for MI5, you’ll have a huge, positive impact on our projects.
You’ll take ownership of large pieces of work, delivering technical analysis and testing. Working on next generation digital intelligence platforms, you’ll also integrate the latest big data technology where appropriate. It’s a role where your expertise will safeguard our nation every day.
About you
We’ll expect you to have at least 2 years’ relevant experience alongside a 2:1 honours degree, or at least 4 - 8 years’ experience with other formal qualifications. Thanks to this, you’ll be an experienced Java, C# or Oracle application developer with sound understanding of best practices.
With excellent communication skills, you’ll foster great working relationships within a team and thrive under pressure. And you’ll also have a proven track record of delivering projects using a recognised methodology - always meeting customers’ expectations.
