Business Analyst - Government - London - 6 months+

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced business analyst to join a law enforcement organisation and work with multiple projects within Programme Governance to capture, analyse and manage requirements (functional and non-functional) to inform Solution design.

The business analyst will Act as the liaison between business operations and project delivery (Design and IT)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

BCS Foundation in Business Analytics.

EASE trained or experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Experience in business analytics tools and methodologies;

Understanding of the principles of organisational design;

Experience of understanding and analysing a range of processes, activities and IT systems;

Experience of requirements capture, prioritisation and management;

Experience of facilitating workshops and chairing meetings with clients and managing client-supplier relationships to ensure requirements are translated correctly into Solution design;

Good analytical problem solver - ability to make and recommend decisions based on informed analysis and impact assessment;

Understanding of Programme Management environments, Project Management environments and change management;

Understanding of Risk Management;

Customer facing individual, with strong stakeholder management skills and presentation/communication skills.

Experienced user of MS Visio and Excel for business and volumetrics modelling;

Experience of client-facing roles.

MSP, PRINCE2, AGILE Project Management.

Enhanced SC clearance will be required for this position
