As Head of Global Cyber Security Operations, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of our cyber security operations capability, ensure the cutting-edge application of security concepts and methodology for across the organisation within the traditional IT space, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and Industry 4.0. The strategy you develop and the teams you go on to build will be an integral part to our business in the years to come.

Key Accountabilities

* Create, own and maintain a 3 year strategic roadmap of cyber security operations.

* Drive tactical and strategic security tooling improvements as per the defined roadmap.

* Create, own and maintain an IT Security Crisis Management plan.

* Act as Incident Director for major security incidents.

* Lead Security remediation efforts as required and drive improvements in security incident detection rates.

* Manage and maintain relationships with key strategic security suppliers.

* Drive security intelligence gathering, security analytics and hunting in order to move from reactive to proactive operational effects.

* Act as a mentor for security leaders within the security ecosystem.

* Support the Global Cyber Security Director in the formation of IT Security Policy and Strategy.

* Deputise for the Global Cyber Security Director during periods of absence or on an as required basis.

Qualifications

* Strong professional experience in dealing with high profile and complex security incidents.

* Experience in creating and managing high performance Security teams.

* Detailed understanding of security enforcing technologies.

* Demonstrable ability to effect change and improvement in a highly technical organisation.

* Ability to engage with business leaders and key stakeholder to understand business priorities.

* The successful candidate must be capable of obtaining UK Security Clearances.
