JCB Finance Ltd is recruiting for a recent graduate Web Developer for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support a new project working at the company’s office in Rocester, Staffordshire. You’ll be working alongside the company’s established IT function on the design and development of a new website and other applications, to aid the sale of plant and machinery.

Job Specification:-

Degree in Web Development (or an equivalent computing degree including specialism in Web development). Minimum 2:1, including:-

ASP.Net

VB.Net

MVC

HTML

CSS and JavaScript

Foundation (responsive framework)

XML web services

Microsoft Platforms: Visual studio and TFS Source Control

Microsoft SQL Server or experience of similar relational database - including confidence in writing SQL statements

Understanding of object orientated programming

Good communication skills with the ability to contribute ideas and work within a team

Security best practice

Creativity

Flexibility to respond to changing requirements

Good numeracy skills

Preferred:-

Adobe Photoshop and graphic design

Experience and/or an interest in Mobile development

Remuneration:-

£18,000 per annum (fixed term contract, 12 months)

25 days holiday & Bank Holidays

Bonus £1,000 (subject to satisfactory completion of contract)
