The Trust is at the forefront of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementations that support the delivery of patient care. We constantly aim to be innovative and at the leading edge of delivering ICT that benefits our patients and supports our staff in their work.

We are committed to being a paperless hospital and to supporting improved care for patients whether their care setting our hospitals, our Health Partners or the wider Community, by timely sharing of relevant information.

The ICT innovations and projects helping us to achieve this include links between key corporate systems to enable sharing of information, a replacement EPR system, Electronic Document Management system, Point of Care Testing, increasing integration with our Health Partners and working toward a Local Unified Care record.

This is a FTC position to 28/02/2018

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Project Manager, with experience of successful implementation through the project lifecycle.

You will engage with a broad spectrum of users across the Trust and with external agencies, and work as part of the Project Management Team, liaising closely with other teams in the ICT department, developing and maintaining key corporate systems as well as implementing innovations and delivering ICT solutions that translate into tangible clinical benefit for patients.

Significant Project Management experience, application of PRINCE 2 (or equivalent methodology), strong influencing skills, the ability act on your own initiative, excellent communication skills in both written and oral media and a demonstrable record of successful implementation to time and budget are essentials for the role.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of the issues challenging large Acute Trusts in implementing ICT solutions.

This is an exciting and challenging role and you will make a vital contribution to the Trust’s continued delivery of its ICT strategy.
