IT SECURITY ANALYST
Company: Global organization in integrated energy and chemicals
Job Role:
* Research and evaluate security audit and IDS logs for anomalies
* React to and track suspicious/malicious events reported by the SIEM or internal users until disclosure
* Create, collect and analyse logs from firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems, web proxies, malware analysers and email security applications
* Rapport vulnerability assessment results, evaluate new applications or initiatives and provide support in assessing and developing security standards and guidelines
* Acts as administrator or provide support for security solutions
* Assess, develop, and stay current on testing tools, techniques, and process improvements in support of security event detection and incident response

Required skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related study
* At least 4 years of working experience in Information Security or related field
* Knowledge and experience in application and network security measures and monitoring tools and techniques including detection methods, host and networks IPS, vulnerability scanners
* Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) and security incident handling
* Strong analytical, and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of threat and vulnerability and identity related processes and technology
* CISSP or GIAC Certification
* Experience with Python, Perl or other scripting languages
* Experience with end-point security solutions
