XLN currently have an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer, within our Marketing team.

You will have the following:

*Experience with .NET framework (C#) and Visual Studio

*Experience using HTML(5), CSS(3) and JavaScript

*Experience using client-side JavaScript libraries, such as jQuery, etc.

*An understanding of OOP concepts

*An understanding of responsive design

*Good problem analysis and solving skills

*Good interpersonal and team-working skills

*Experience with GIT, SQL and SASS will be an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities:

*The web team is responsible for the development and support of all of XLN’s public facing websites, working closely with the Marketing department. We ensure that the websites:

*Perform efficiently

*Conform to standards and best practices

*Are SEO optimised

*Ensure a smooth customer experience

*Use the latest technologies appropriately

The right candidate will have between 1-2 years’ experience under their belt, is enthusiastic about web development, enjoys discussing technical issues, and has a degree in Computer Science (or similar).
