Our DevOps teams provide a wide range of support and deployment related activities to all development, QA, and release management teams. About the programme
Our DevOps teams provide a wide range of support and deployment related activities to all development, QA, and release management teams. And this is your chance to be a part of it and have the opportunity to support production and pre-production development in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
At the forefront of deployment and operational support of Sky’s expanding mobile and interactive platforms, you could be working on Sky Go, Now TV, Sky Sports mobile applications and Sky News mobile applications among many others. You will receive four weeks’ training to give you a complete grounding in DevOps principles and environments.
This exciting opportunity will see you working as part of a team responsible for planning and executing the integration of services into a complex cloud and data centre environment in an efficient, secure and cost effective manner.

Your skills and talents
You’ll have completed or be due to complete an undergraduate degree in any discipline. Obviously, you’ll love all aspects of technology and have some experience in developing. You’ll be knowledgeable and passionate about technology, striving to get things done and believe that the route to speed and stability is through automation.
You ideally would have some knowledge of pipeline automation and deployment frameworks such as Jenkins, Puppet and VMware automation and hands-on experience of cloud-related technologies.
