We have a vacancy for an Information Technology Coordinator to manage our own in-house ICT co-ordination and first line support. Our ICT Service is used heavily by both our back office and frontline staff. It is important that this service is reliable and easy to use so we can communicate with each other effectively at all times. We also need to easily create, store and retrieve our data on fixed, mobile and remote devices connecting to our system.

The role involves carrying out basic first line troubleshooting, maintenance and support. It is the single point of contact for approximately 100 staff within The Passage for ICTS issues and requests. Support to users will be either remotely i.e. on the phone, through email or in person face to face on site.

Your remit will include fixing, setting up, rebuilding and/or maintaining PCs, printers and/or laptops. Other duties could include updating and patching servers, setting up and connecting mobile devices to the system. The role also includes being in charge of system documentation and asset records, backup monitoring and managing moves and changes.

Additionally, you will be the main liaison person responsible for communication, with the external ICTS supplier on behalf of The Passage. The role will have the delegated authority to escalate and co-ordinate 2nd/3rd line issues and service requests with the external ICT Supplier, which the resolutions of incidents, problems, and requests will be logged and monitored, informing management of any issues.
