The Role:
An exciting opportunity to work in an industry leading pro audio company that is looking to expand its software development team. The successful candidate will be passionate about audio technology and thrive in being at the cutting edge.
You will be working within the R&D team to provide solutions at all levels of the development stack.
Challenges will range from developing cloud infrastructure, modelling data, implementing APIs, integrating services with hardware and software clients, designing and implementing user interfaces on various platforms, and providing an effective user experience to add value to the next generation of professional audio products

You are expected to be multi-skilled and highly motivated, and eager to pick up new skills as the job requires. Being a team player is paramount. You’ll be expected to produce high quality, elegant code, and to partake in regular code reviews, as both reviewer and reviewee.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Develop cloud software solutions utilising relational and non-relational data stores and RESTful APIs
Provide infrastructure solutions using technologies including OpenStack and Puppet
Innovate solutions to user problems across the whole development stack
Promote good practices and help others to improve
Provide rapid prototypes for solutions
Work to agreed timescales for production deployment
Requirements:
A good (1st class or 2:1) engineering or similar relevant degree (or equivalent qualification)
5+ years demonstrable experience of full stack and full lifecycle development
Experience of deploying production code in a continuous integration environment
Excellent object oriented design skills
Skilled with javascript, NodeJS and MongoDB or equivalent
Solid understanding of RESTful interfaces
Fluent with Git and other modern development tools (e.g. Jira, Stash, Bamboo)
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and departments within the company
