Image Signal Processor Architect

Location: Sophia Antipolis, France

Our client, a leading Telecommunication company are expanding their R&D center, as a result are seeking an Image Signal Processor Architect (ISP Architect).

The Image Signal Processor Architect will be responsible for:

* Monitor research and industry; be aware of the state of the art and present information to peers

* Explore, compare and implement algorithms

* Define optimal hardware architecture

* Write algorithm and implementation specification documents

* Drive hardware implementation and verification activities

Background from Image Signal Processor Architect:

* Education: Relevant engineering degree with 5+ years of industry experience.

* 3+ years professional experience in image processing, camera systems or picture quality evaluation; aware of the state of the art

* 2+ years professional experience in RTL design, ideally of multimedia accelerators

* Proven experience in hardware IP architecture, low power / area RTL design techniques, camera algorithm development, picture quality evaluation, algorithm implementation and optimization

* Able to create high quality specifications

* Solid understanding of image signal processing (ISP) pipeline and mobile image sensors

* Strong programming experience

* Familiar with picture manipulation and quality measurement tools

* Fluent French and English, Chinese is a plus

* C/C++, Verilog, linux scripting, FPGA prototyping
