Solihull Council has recently established a new UK Central Programme Office to support and enable the delivery of infrastructure projects within UK Central ranging from transport projects, digital connectivity through to the new high speed Interchange Station - one of the largest projects in the UK.

The Role:

We have some exciting opportunities for 3 Project Managers to join our UK Central Programme team.

This new team will have the opportunity to shape UK Central and position it as an international investment opportunity and visitor destination.

Skills and Experience:

Our Project Managers, of which we have three opportunities, are pivotal roles in leading transformational projects and creating a long-term economic legacy for Solihull.

- Bachelor’s Degree with demonstrable relevant work experience in programme or complex project management.

- Qualification in project management (Prince 2)

- Experienced and knowledge of project management skills and proof of successful delivery

- Ability to prioritise, manage own time and workload and meet deadlines

- Active listening and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to establish and maintain good working and personal relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Ability to use information technology, such as: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and the internet.

- Experience of delivery medium / large infrastructure projects.
