We are looking for a Data Executive to join a new team that we are creating in AXA Wealth Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity that will play an important role in Marketing and will be seen to make a real difference to the business.

This is a delivery role, focused on the day-to-day support of marketing communications through list selection and campaign delivery using Marketing Automation across multiple propositions and channels. You will be responsible for maintaining and delivering data processes for marketing communications and for delivering data selections for marcoms to a campaign brief.

Part of the role will be seeking out new ways to enhance marketing data to improve targeting and segmentation through close working with the central Business Intelligence team to build managed and controlled data sets suitable for marketing campaign selections.

You will work with data governance and business intelligence teams to assess data integrity and work to implement improvements to increase overall data quality. You will also support and coach Marketing teams with list selection requirements, reporting and analysis and provide knowledge and assistance with Marketing Automation.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have worked in environments with complex data arrangements and have a high level of analytical skills. Knowledge of Marketing Automation is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide results that are clear, robust and can be used for decision making.

We will need you to be completely comfortable using analytical systems with expert knowledge of analytical software such as SAS, Excel, SQL and Access. You will need to have an understanding of CRM systems and have an understanding of data processing and data integrity techniques.

Ideally you will have a degree in a relevant subject (Computer Science, Maths, Statistics or a numerate related discipline) and an interest in marketing techniques.

Financial Services experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

We may also consider a recent graduate who has a relevant degree (Computer Science, Maths, Statistics or a numerate related discipline) who is looking for a career in the world of ‘data’ who can demonstrate an aptitude to learn and develop in this environment.

About the Marketing Data Planning team

This is a new team which will drive forward the Marketing data strategy and be the ‘gatekeepers’ of our data for all marketing activity.

The new team will have a broad range of Data Planning responsibilities across Marketing. The team will bring customer data and marketing to the forefront of a growing business through the development of targeting strategies that optimise marketing campaigns to deliver specific commercial results. Whilst being technical leads for marketing data, the team will be subject matter experts for Marketing Automation systems working hand-in-hand with Marketing Communications teams.
