Web Software Developer

Islington, London

£30,000 - £37,500 DOE

Our client is a fast-growing software company and they are now looking for a brilliant Microsoft software programmer who wants to make an impact by helping SMEs grow their businesses through intelligent technology solutions.

The Role:

The successful application will work closely with, and report directly to, the CTO in their brand new and spacious offices.

The projects you will be tackling are both varied and substantial in nature and offer a great opportunity to garner significant experience and improved technical skills.

Resources are in place to fully train and support your growth with using various methodologies.

There will be aspects of this role that will involve contact with clients (although it’s not a major part) and you will be able to enjoy seeing the results of your work in action.

Skills/Experience required:

A degree is not necessary for this role, but significant education and a technical, logical mind-set is.

- C#.NET v4.0 (2 years’ experience minimum)

- SQL Server - including T-SQL & Stored Procedures (2 years’ experience minimum)

- ASP.NET v4.0 (2 years’ experience minimum)

- Object Oriented Programming (1 years’ experience minimum)

- Well organised

- Bright

- Self-motivated & pro-active

- Good communication skills

Beneficial skills, but not essential:

- Experience working through an entire project life-cycle

- Experience of working SMEs

- Working with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- ASP.NET MVC

- BitBucket / Git or other source code control

- HTML, JQuery (1 & 2), CSS, MySQL, PHP, responsive web

- XCode / Xamarin or any mobile App development

- Basic use of Photoshop / Illustrator
