Functional Developer / Senior OCaml Programmer (OOD OCaml F# Scala Clojure C++ Java C# Functional). Global financial institution is seeking a technically strong, highly driven hands-on Senior Functional Developer to join a talented, newly formed team. You will develop Greenfield derivatives pricing frameworks and analytics, replacing the current C++ based solution with a state-of-the-art OCaml platform. This is a hugely challenging role, where you will work with cutting-edge functional programming techniques to solve complex financial problems.

As a Senior Functional Developer you will take ownership of this vital project, driving forward innovation and leading the introduction of functional programming to this technology-driven organisation. Liaising closely with key stakeholders, such as business managers, financial engineers and quantitative researchers, you will work throughout the full development lifecycle to translate product specifications into elegant solutions.

Requirements:

                     Excellent functional programming experience - OCaml, F#, Scala, Clojure etc.

                     Good OOD experience (e.g. C++, Java or C#)

                     2:1 degree in Computer Science or related subject from a top tier university

                     Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

                     Full lifecycle development experience
