Principal Software Engineer, Embedded Software, IoT - Cambridge

An experienced Embedded Software Engineer is urgently sought by my Cambridge based client. At the forefront of IoT technologies, this is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer to join a company that are making a big impact on the future of wireless networking solutions.

The successful applicant must have a solid background developing/programming in embedded software systems. As the most senior engineer in a small development team you will gain team leadership experience, giving you a a great chance to progress your career as the team grow from strength to strength. Alongside a strong academic background, Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications etc.. (2:1 Minimum grading) You must have hands on experience working in the following areas;

- Strong C Programming

- Device drivers

- Board support package (BSP) / HALs.

- Embedded real time operating systems (RTOS, VxWorks)

- ARM Microcontrollers

Any experience working in the IoT or M2M sector is also highly desired.
