Web Author - SC Cleared

My Client a Government Client is currently looking for a Web Author to work to a current live date of end of October 2015 with ramping up of activity between August 15 and Easter 2016.

The successful candidate will have experience and effective web author / editor who can quickly get started and develop new high profile government websites which includes business critical knowledge based used to provide information to a national customer base.

You will need to have an eye for detail, background of managing and manipulating digital assets and a character that can help energise a small yet busy web team.

Must be experienced in/with:

1 Clear and concise communication and writing skills and the ability to translate technical problems into everyday business language, in line with house style.

2. Editing technical content from technical authors to deliver web friendly content that is accurate, relevant and user friendly

3. Excellent customer relationship skills

4. Strong team player used to working to deadlines

5. Authoring via Content Management Systems (ideally DRUPAL)

6. User interface design, HTML, Bootstrap and CSS technologies

7. Common social media toolds, newsletters, blogs, web forums

8. SEO and effective use of meta data

9. Editing rich interactive media, especially photograhs and videos
